The B.C. Ministry of Education is calling on teachers to provide feedback into its new policy determining how teachers report on student learning.


According to a letter from the B.C. Teachers Federation to all it members, the ministry is updating the K-12 Student Reporting Policy and has requested input on its draft. The policy is expected to be released in January 2020 and be implemented in the 2022/2023 school year.


BCTF president Teri Mooring says in the letter that teachers should consider five key changes being proposed.
